The name Dÿhld Faz Ckez is derived from the Dwarven language, as Dÿhld Faz Ckez was founded by Thoken Zÿhndtubqugbuhez, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Dÿhld Faz Ckez was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dÿhld Faz Ckez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Dÿhld Faz Ckez is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad paverstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
